About Me

Educational History:

I am a 1991 graduate of Hugo High School, Hugo, OK and a 1995 graduate from the University of Oklahoma.

Degrees and Certifications:

I hold a BS in Elementary Education, with endorsements in English as a Second Language and Early Childhood Education. I am Texas School Ready certified and am Texas and Oklahoma licensed.

Current Position:

I am entering my 24th year of teaching at Chisum ISD. I have taught 2^nd, 1^st, ESL, and am currently in my 17^th year of teaching Pre-K.

Previous Position:

Prior to Chisum, I taught for four years at Grant Public Schools in Grant, OK as a first grade teacher.

Family Information:

I have one daughter, Lauren, who graduated from Chisum in 2017, and recently received her bachelors from Tarleton State University. We have two fiesty pups, Papi and Chicklet, who love to travel with us anywhere we go.
